DIY "Moon Sand" And An Accidental Cell Activity?
I found this on pinterest. We have made it before and the all the kids loved it. I also used this as a "brain break" activity during homework time.

I mixed 3 cups of flour and 1 cup of baby oil. During this process, I tried to mix food coloring with the oil and discovered another activity that would keep the kids busy. (besides the fact that they wouldn't mix)

After dropping in the food coloring, you can push the dots closer together to make a bigger drop and "cut" it up. It also looks like cells and cell division. I think that will entertain the kids for a while.
